I love fast little crochet projects that I can work up in an evening. And this baby hat works upwards Then quickly – even for beginners.

Deramores Studio Baby Soft DK, 360 yds / iii.5 oz (330m / 100g). - Crochet claw: Newborn G (4mm); 0–iii months Size seven (4.5mm); 3–6 months H (5mm).
- Yarn needle (the aptitude tip makes sewing and weaving in ends much easier).

beg – beginning
ch(southward) – chain(southward)
dc – double crochet: Yarn over (yo), insert claw into stitch, yo, pull up a loop (iii loops on claw). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Yo, pull through remaining 2 loops. 1 double crochet completed.
fasten off – To fasten off deeply, work one chain, then cut the yarn leaving a 5 – vi" tail. Pull the tail through the loop that is on your hook. Tighten gently.
